There’s a lot of fun stuff to do in and
about Carmel Indiana. One Hot Spot is Central Park, Carmel’s
Premier Recreational Park. It is located near the heart of
Carmel at 1235 Central Park Drive East, Carmel Indiana. The park
is the home of the 106,000 sq ft Monon Center Complex (East and
West), and the outdoor aquatic park. Opened in May of 2007, the
park features a $55+ Million complex complete with an Indoor &
Outdoor Aquatic facilities, play facilities, a fitness center,
elevated 1/8th mile walking/running track, indoor basketball
courts/gymnasiums, cafe, 10,000 sq ft outdoor skateboard park,
access to the Monon biking/walking trail, 161 acres of park area
with mature trees, and a fishing lagoon and boardwalk. The Monon
Center East building, connected by a skybridge to the Monon
Center West fitness facilities, includes an art studio, banquet
facility, computer lab, and office space. The East facilities
are available for rental to accommodate Wedding Ceremony,
Wedding Reception, Wedding Rehearsal Dinner, Banquet/Dinner,
Private Party, Corporate Event, PR/Marketing Event, Meeting,
Conference, Class, Retreat, or Stage Performance. There is also
a secure childcare area called the Kid Zone for kids to enjoy
themselves while their parents are taking part in activities at
