Carmel has some of the finest public schools in the State. The facilities are superb, many of which are new or have undergone recent construction. Though there are three middle schools and eleven elementary schools, Carmel has only one High School, which is Carmel High. There are over 14,500 students enrolled in Carmel Schools. Carmel High School excels in academics, arts, and sports. With much higher than average SAT scores at the state and national level, an impressive 95% of Carmel High School students continue their education after high school. The Carmel Clay school district just recently completed construction on a new middle school (Creekside) and elementary schools (College Wood, and West Clay elementary) in West Clay. You can learn more about these schools, and find links to each school’s website by clicking here - Go to Carmel Schools. Carmel also has a very modern public library, which was constructed in 1999. The photo to the right shows the facilities. You can learn more about what the library has to offer by checking out their website.
