Carmel is full of great neighborhoods with nice homes and amenities.
There are probably more choices here than anywhere else in the area.
With lots of new construction, Carmel is a top choice for home
shoppers. The City has some very interesting neighborhoods, and some
are just different enough that they attract a lot of attention. One
that really stands out is The Village of WestClay. The word
“Village” pretty much describes this community perfectly. Its small
town charm is hard to deny. Designed to have the look and feel of
the perfect historic town, the Village is complete with a downtown
area, shops, Town Hall, grocery, spa, restaurant, courtyard, parks,
pool, and fountains. Of course it is part of the desirable Carmel
Clay School District. Even though construction is far from complete,
this neighborhood has more current occupants than many small towns
in Indiana. It’s homes feature an amazing variety of architectural
styles, many recognizable from the 19th and early 20th century.
Located in West Clay between US-31 (Meridian) and US-421 (Michigan Road), the Village of WestClay offers great access to shopping, work, and entertainment. It is surrounded by new schools, and the nearby roads have been upgraded with traffic rotaries to facilitate flow. Traffic rotaries are integrated into the neighborhood as well, adding to the scenery. Great streetscapes, ornate landscaping, and parks make the Village a popular destination. A simple drive around the neighborhood shows just how special it is. From the expansive Pergola and breathtaking Fountain at Jackson Circle, to the picturesque town square (known as the Village Center), and the decorative gazebos and water features throughout, the Village is unrivaled in its appeal.
